Elaine is a comedian from County Durham. In 2024 she was the winner of the ISH Comedy Awards Panel Prize and a finalist in the Channel 4 Sean Lock Comedian of the Year.
This year she took part on BBC Comedy and New Writing North's, Comedy Camp which brought together comedy writers and performers from the region to develop characters and ideas for TV with support from Jeremy Dyson (League of Gentlemen, Good Omens, Killing Eve) director Chris Foggin (Ludwig) and writer Rebecca Bain (NewsJack, Horrible Histories).
Her debut Edinburgh Fringe solo show Delulu has received critical acclaim, described as ‘Hilarious, heartbreaking at times, but ultimately celebratory, a true gem.’ (Ed Fringe Comedy).
Elaine is a Co- Director of Felt Nowt CIC which aims to improve access to comedy in the North East, bringing sustainable gigs and workshops to rural areas and supporting and developing local talent. Elane leads on the Communities Programme which aims to develop new audiences and voices to comedy while also using comedy as a vehicle to improve confidence in speaking and storytelling.
